The Economic Development Office oversees all City economic development activities, provides support services to Greensboro businesses, and serves as a liaison between City government and the business community.
Our services, programs and one-on-one assistance demonstrate our commitment to attracting, retaining and expanding businesses of all sizes.
Greensboro is seeing new growth and revitalization with a range activity throughout the community: revitalization of the central business district, a new minor league baseball stadium, joint millennial campuses for NC A&T SU and UNCG, and $5.8 million in EPA and HUD grants to redevelop the 13-acre brownfield site along South Elm Street.
