New GTA and SCAT paratransit fares began July 1, 2008. As part of the previously approved plan, an adult one-way trip on GTA or SCAT has increased by 10 cents, senior citizen and disability one-way trips on GTA have increased five cents, and student fares have increased 10 cents. The three-tiered increases in fares for GTA and SCAT were approved in December of 2006 and January 2007 respectively by the GTA Board and the Greensboro City Council as part of its ongoing commitment to public transportation in Greensboro. Discount passes will continue to be available for transit users that will offer savings of 60 percent or more.

Service Animal Policy
The GTA Board has established a new policy regarding the use of service animals on all fixed-route and paratransit services. Review the policy.

GTA Budget Review Task Force Recommendations
