The High Point Ballet provides a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary dance works as well as arts education programs for all ages. Each year over 7,000 school children experience performances of the Company at the High Point Theatre. Additionally the touring professionals provide classical children's works for area schools.

The School of the Arts has a commitment to touring and outreach that dates back to the earliest years of the School. These programs enrich the cultural life of many areas of the state and region, and also provide NCSA students with valuable performance experience. NCSA ensembles and individuals perform throughout the state and region as part of the School’s touring programs. During the academic year (September-May) the NCSA Outreach Office coordinates and makes referrals to three types of outreach programs: touring, education and community outreach.
