GREENSBORO, NC -- (August, 22, 2008) -- The City of Greensboro's Engineering and Inspections Department will be resurfacing various city streets during the week of August 25:

Milling:
Tucker St. from Textile to Phillips Ave
Gillespie St. from 401 Gillespie to McConnell
King St. from Gorrell to McAdoo
McAdoo from Gorrell to King
McAdoo from  Murray to Gorrell 

Patching:
Gillespie St. from 401 Gillespie to McConnell

Manhole and Valve Adjustment Locations:
Bessemer Ave. from Summit Ave to Hwy 29 Bridge
Tucker St. from Textile to Phillips Ave
Gillespie St. from 401 Gillespie to Mc Connell
King St. from Gorrell to McAdoo

Resurfacing – Asphalt Top Placement Locations:
Summit Ave. from Church St. to Wendover Bridge
Bessemer Ave. from Summit Ave to Hwy. 29 Bridge

Motorists should expect delays on these streets.
