Greensboro Oratorio Society
The Greensboro Oratorio Society is a volunteer group for singers who want to learn and perform a wide range of choral literature. Its purpose is to develop and foster musical talent and appreciation in the community - literally to bring people to the music and then to take the music to the people.

The Society performs major choral works several times throughout the year, in addition to its annual presentation of Handel's Messiah, with professional soloists and orchestra. Other programs, such as concerts at retirement homes, special community events and on television, and spring "pops" festival, round out the season.
