BMP Certification Changes

As part of changes to the TRC plan review process, the City of Greensboro Stormwater Division began requiring submission of a completed "record of construction" certification of the design and as-built specifications for all constructed BMPs.

On June 1, 2009, the City began requiring the submittal of sealed as-built plans for structural best management practices. The completed "record of construction" certification and sealed as-built plans must be submitted to the City prior to issuance of the final Certificate of Compliance (CO)  or release of any performance securities for the development.

The links listed below will allow you to view and download a copy of the "record of construction" certification for all State-approved treatment devices (stormwater wetlands, wet detention pond, sand filter, and bioretention area).

If you have questions about the additional BMP certification requirements, contact the Stormwater Division at 336-373-2055.
