Effective October 1, 2009, the North Carolina General Assembly has expanded the number of items banned from landfill disposal and incineration [GS130A-309.10(f)]. The City's Waste Disposal operations will be enforcing the waste disposal bans at the White Street Landfill and Municipal Solid Waste Transfer Station.
