Homicide Investigation

GREENSBORO -- Greensboro Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred at the Travel Lodge Motel, 2112 West Meadowview Road. At approximately 1:15 am, officers responded to this location in reference to a stabbing. When they arrived, they located an assault victim, who was transported to Moses Cone Hospital where he died a short time later. The victim has been identified as Tim Anderson, 50.

The preliminary investigation indicates this was a domestic altercation. The suspect has been identified, but no charges have been filed. The investigation is continuing and persons with information are asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 373-2255 or Crime Stoppers at 373-1000.
