NCDOT Implements Additional Stimulus Projects, Considers Another
GREENSBORO, NC -- (March 29, 2009) -- The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will implement the following additional projects in the Greensboro area: • $4 million for an addition of a new project for milling and resurfacing I-85 from US 29/70 interchange to Groometown Road • $10 million for an addition of a new project for milling and resurfacing on I-40/85 from Rock Creek Dairy Road to University Drive.
NCDOT is currently considering the use of stimulus funding for the following Guilford County project in Greensboro: • $600,000 for Guilford County’s Bicentennial Greenway for Phase IV and V project from Market Street to Ballinger Road.
