Homicide Investigation

Greensboro Police Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred yesterday evening at the El Paraso II Cantina located at 2245 High Point Road. At 10:45 pm officers responded to this location in reference to a shooting. When they arrived they found a victim who was pronounced dead on the scene. The victim has been identified as Javier Moreno Lopez, 22.

No suspects have been arrested. The investigation is continuing and persons with information are asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 336-373-2255 or Crime Stoppers at 336-373-1000. This is the 19th homicide investigation of 2007.
