Faith Community Meeting Set for March 12
GREENSBORO, NC (March 10, 2008) – District 2 City Council Member Goldie Wells has scheduled a meeting to bring the Faith Community back together to hear a plan of action that the volunteer Planning Committee has developed over the past several weeks.
The meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Evangel Fellowship Church of God in Christ, 2007 E. Cone Blvd. on Wednesday, March 12 from 10 am to 12 noon. The Planning Committee was tasked with developing strategies and a plan of action to help decrease youth violence and gang activity in Greensboro through the efforts of the faith community.
“Our Faith Community Meeting held last month was quite successful and many concerned residents agreed to continue with our efforts," said Wells. "Public input is vital to assure our community prevails and I am asking now that you continue to serve your community through providing your input and helping carry out these action items.”
