Building Maintenance
The Building Maintenance Division provides mechanical, structural, and custodial services to City facilities, including fire stations, libraries, recreation centers, Parks and Recreation regional parks and pools, the Service Center complex, Natural Science Center, police district facilities, miscellaneous office facilities, and 264 other structures, such as picnic shelters, restrooms in City parks, ballpark concession stands, parking decks, and storage buildings.
Mission
To provide the citizens of Greensboro with municipal facilities which they can be proud of, create a safe and clean environment which meets the needs of those who use them, and motivate those who work within them. With our expert knowledge of the City of Greensboro facilities we will manage ourselves in a manner which is the most cost-effective in providing maintenance operations and security.
