Business and Technology
The Business and Technology Division supports the Engineering & Inspections Department's business operations and technology needs. The staff supports a variety of operations that are vital to the department's operation.
The division provides business and technology support to all divisions in the department, prepares the departmental budget, tracks all City construction projects, administers the contract payment system on all of the City's professional service/construction related projects, develops/reports on departmental performance measures, and manages departmental records. The division also administers the City's franchise agreement with Time Warner and other fiber optic companies and manages all cell tower location agreements. The division also administers the Right-of-Way Management program.
