What is APRIL?
APRIL is an automated response system that provides 24-hour access to schedule or cancel building, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing inspections, check on the status of permits and of plan reviews, and visit an automated information line with a Fax Back feature (APRILfax). 

To schedule inspections, you will need the seven-digit permit number, located on the permit card. Calls to APRIL can be made from your home, office, jobsite, or vehicle. You have the flexibility to schedule your inspections to suit your needs. During normal business hours, you can call Building Inspections for assistance with other matters, but all inspection requests should be made using APRIL. For same day inspections, requests must be made before 7 am.
