Bardolph Building
Work includes:
- Replacing existing lighting with high-efficiency lighting systems
- Integrating the air conditioning system with the City’s ice storage plant located at the J. Douglas Galyon Depot
- Recommissioning heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems (HVAC) with new, energy-efficient components and adjusting the controls to optimally efficient settings.
An Energy Awareness Program that targets Bardolph Building workers and visitors will also be implemented. This campaign will educate people on ways to reduce energy use through simple behavior modifications.
These initiatives are projected to save about $15,600 annually in energy costs for this building.
