Recreation Centers and Sportsplex
 Work on Recreation Centers includes:

  • Replacing existing lighting in 11 centers with high-efficiency lighting systems
  • Installing low-flow water fixture systems in seven centers.

These initiatives are projected to save about $27,300 annually in energy costs for these buildings.



Work on the Sportsplex includes:

  • Replacing existing lighting with high-efficiency lighting systems

These initiatives are projected to save about $26,900 annually in energy costs for this building.


An Energy Awareness Program that will target workers and visitors to all of these buildings will be implemented. This campaign will educate building occupants and visitors on ways they can help reduce energy use further through simple behavior modifications.
