Natural Science Center

Work on the Natural Science Center includes: 

• Upgrading and installing additional computerized building automation systems to optimally control and monitor heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and lighting systems
• Replacing existing lighting with high-efficiency lighting systems
• Installing low-flow water fixture systems.

An Energy Awareness Program that targets Natural Science Center workers and visitors will also be implemented. This campaign will educate people on ways to reduce energy use through simple behavior modifications.

These initiatives are projected to about $37,100 annually in energy costs for this building.
