The Rental Unit Certificate Advisory Board members are appointed by City Council for three-year terms that expire on January 1. Current members are:

Regular meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 8:30 am at the Local Ordinance and Zoning Enforcement Office Building, 1001 Fourth Street. See map for location.
The duties of the Rental Unit Certificate Advisory Board are to:
1. Hear and determine appeals from decisions of the building inspector with regard to Rental Unit Certificates of Occupancy.
2. Perform other duties as may be assigned by to the Board from time to time by City Council.
Appeals from the decisions of the Advisory Board may be made to the Greensboro Minimum Housing Standards Commission according to Section 11-49 of the Greensboro Code of Ordinances.
