City Special Events Office

From neighborhood streets and parks, to the lively energy of downtown, the City of Greensboro plays host to many unique events that make our community a wonderful place to live and play. 

The special events staff works with all event producers to present clear guidelines and requirements applicable when holding an event in the city right-of-way or on public property.

To host such an event, you must apply to receive a special event permit or neighborhood block party permit.
