Greensboro Ballet
The Greensboro Ballet provides professional ballet performances and training to the people of Greensboro and surrounding communities. Greensboro Ballet offers a three performance season, which includes the holiday favorite "The Nutcracker." In addition to the performance season, Greensboro Ballet and Greensboro Ballet II do several performances at retirement homes, clubs, malls, bookstores, and at CityStage. The educational outreach programs include "Dance in the Schools" and the annual school showing of the second act of "The Nutcracker."
The School of Greensboro Ballet has more than 300 students and offers classes to students of all ages. Several scholarships are awarded each year based on talent and need.
