Community Theatre of Greensboro
The Community Theatre of Greensboro is a non-profit theatrical organization serving Greensboro and the Piedmont Triad for more than 50 years. With offices and studios at the Greensboro Cultural Center, CTG offers a wide variety of theatrical classes and workshops for pre-schoolers, children, teens and adults.
Besides presenting intimate and original pieces at the Greensboro Cultural Center in the Studio Theatre, CTG presents full-scale musicals at the Carolina Theatre. With a great deal of focus on outreach, CTG presents numerous programs such as Theatre in the Schools, Harlequin Moving Company, and CREATE (Conflict resolution Enrichment Activities in Theatre Education) in partnership with Guilford County Schools. CTG is in its fourth year of presenting "The Wizard of Oz" at the Carolina Theatre that is quickly becoming a Thanksgiving production.
