Each summer, the Festival establishes a musical community on the campus of Guilford College in Greensboro. The faculty consists of outstanding musicians selected from leading symphony orchestras and music schools. They perform a weekly series of orchestral concerts and chamber music concerts. They also share their extensive musical knowledge with Eastern Music Festival students. In addition, guests artists who come to perform with the professional ensembles are engaged with the understanding that they will be accessible to the students. The concert series from late June to early August presents more than 40 orchestral and chamber music concerts.
