Burning Permit
Citizens may apply for a burning permit by completing an application (pdf). After submission, call the Fire Prevention Bureau office at 373-2177 for approval over the phone. Contractors may print and complete the application, and bring it with the permit fee of $35 to the Fire Prevention Bureau office, 1512 North Church Street.

Permits for tank removal or abandonment are obtained by printing an application (pdf) from this site. Complete the application and bring it with the permit fee of $100 per tank to the Fire Prevention Bureau office at 1512 North Church Street.

Permits to conduct blasting are obtained by printing an application (pdf) from this site. Complete the application and bring it with the permit fee of $125 for 30 days or $200 for 90 days to the Fire Prevention Bureau office at 1512 North Church Street. Please read the permit document for requirements and conditions.
