The Technology Section of the Business and Operations Division provides cutting edge technology for the Department of Transportation. The Section's focus is to provide quality technical solutions to computer-related issues and to support GDOT needs in all computer-related products and services.

The products and services consist of:

• maintaining data in our work management software (Datastream)
• collecting the essential data with our GPS devices (Trimble), and
• housing and updating the spatial data using ESRI/GIS software.
