Business Division

The Department of Transportation’s Business / Parking Division is a diverse staff of professionals and administrative staff and customer support specialists.

The division is comprised of three independent sections: Administration, Parking Operations, and Business, which all subscribe to common interests and goals. The primary goal of the division is to provide excellent customer service to its internal and external customers.

Business Division Sections

The Administration Section provides customers with a friendly and courteous City representative to help direct calls and answer frequently asked questions. The Parking Operation Section manages four municipally-owned parking decks, six surface lots, and more than 1,600 parking locations in downtown Greensboro. The Business Section provides GDOT with technical expertise, customer concern resolution, and the “Red Light Camera Program” - SafeLight Piedmont.
