Battleground Avenue / Westridge / Old Battleground Road Intersection Improvements

The intersection of Battleground Avenue and Westridge Road has been identified for improvements by the City of Greensboro Department of Transportation (GDOT). A series of public meetings were held in 2005 to determine the course for public improvements along Battleground Avenue. As part of this study, it was recommended that one of the initial phases of this project should include an intersection improvement at Battleground Avenue and Westridge Road. After a series of public meetings, the design was finalized.

Review the Intersection Functional Design

GDOT has authorized this project for design, surveying and construction and expects construction to begin in fall 2013.
