GTA Complimentary Pass PolicyAt its January meeting, the GTA Board made changes to the Complimentary Pass Policy for all transit services. The new policy is as follows:
GTA will issue one complimentary pass to any rider who has been charged an incorrect fare, or who has experienced poor customer service. Poor customer service includes rude or discourteous treatment from the operator, lack of air conditioning on the vehicle, or lateness of the vehicle. A late trip is defined as one resulting in the rider missing his or her connection at the depot. In order to receive a complimentary pass for poor customer service or late trips, you will need to notify your street supervisor to request a complimentary pass the day the incident or late trip occurs.
