New GTA Change Card
 As a courtesy to our riders, GTA is now issuing and accepting a change card on buses. If you insert bills up to $20 into the farebox to pay your fare, you can request the operator issue you a change card for the balance.
The change card (shown below) will display the cash balance you can use for future trips. Each time you use the card, the amount of your fare will be deducted until the balance reaches zero.
Rules and Conditions for Card Use
~ The change card must be requested from the bus operator at the time of boarding. You cannot return later to request a card.
~ Cards are accepted on GTA and HEAT for fares, but cannot be exchanged for passes or redeemed for cash.
~ The farebox cannot accept bills over $20.
~ Additional money cannot be added to the card, but multiple cards can be used to pay a fare.
