GTA and You - United We Ride!

Greensboro Transit Authority has launched United We Ride - a new partnership in which GTA and our passengers will work together to enhance the public transportation experience in Greensboro.

GTA has already begun identifying aspects of planning and operational improvements to benefit current and potential riders alike. These include securing funding for additional routes and buses, making schedule changes to better serve the community, placing emphasis on vehicle and bus stop maintenance, and more. Amenities beneficial to riders continue to be developed including passenger information by text message, a ride guide and soon to come, personal trip planning using Google Transit.

Riders can also do their part by observing rules and policies in place for the safety and convenience of operators and passengers. Videos taking a sometimes humorous look at these subjects can be seen any time on Greensboro's Channel 13 and GTA's YouTube site.

We ask all GTA and HEAT riders to partner with us to take public transportation to the next level of success. High fuel prices or not, public transportation will forever serve an important role in the economic development and overall growth of our diverse community -- but only if we are united in purpose.
