J. Douglas Galyon Depot

Originally built in 1927 as a Southern Railway train terminal, the J. Douglas Galyon Depot serves as a multi-modal transportation facility that includes the GTA Transfer Center. Located at 236-C East Washington Street in downtown Greensboro, the J. Douglas Galyon Depot hosts other transportation providers, including PART Express, Carolina Trailways, Greyhound and Amtrak. Transit operations began at the state's largest historic station in August of 2003.
