Lowdermilk Street / Pine Street Grade Separation Study

The North Carolina Department of Transportation Rail Division is conducting a study on a future project recommended in the East Guilford Traffic Separation Study. The Lowdermilk Street / Pine Street Crossing Closure Study will determine the best ways to eliminate one of the existing at-grade railroad crossings.

The links below are to maps and documents from the November 19, 2009 Public Workshop on a developed proposal. Public comments on the proposal was accepted until December 18, 2009.

The proposal should be presented to the Greensboro Planning Board and the Greensboro City Council soon.
