Downtown Greenway
The proposed Downtown Greenway is a special public-private partnership project that would enhance pedestrian and bicycle circulation around the downtown area. It would connect to Phase II of the Battleground Rail Trail and would support implementation of the City Council’s walkability policy and the Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenways Master Plan. The project has been identified as a short-term need, but additional public funding will be needed to finance construction over the next 10 years.
