Southern Railway Passenger Depot - Greensboro, NCThis building, the first Southern Railway passenger depot in Greensboro, opened in 1899. Railroads were crucial to Greensboro’s growth, as it is not located near a river.

It has been greatly altered from its original appearance and now houses Norfolk Southern offices.
