Archive: One City, One Author
Occasionally, when a significant author visits Greensboro, the Public Library will sponsor a series of programs around the works of the author to encourage community-wide interest and appreciation of the coming visit.

Toni Morrison lectured at War Memorial Auditorium on March 13, Toni Morrsion sidebar with book jackets2007 at 7:30 pm as part of the Guilford College Bryan Lecture Series. One of the most prominent authors in world literature, Morrison has won both a Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize for Literature. Learn more about Toni Morrison's life and works.
