Art in the Library Tree of Knowledge
Greensboro Library Arts Commission (GLAC) was established in January 1997 at the invitation of Library Director Sandy Neerman. The Arts Commission desired to enhance the libraries with art "to create an environment that stimulates and enriches our diverse community, encourages lifelong learning, nurtures the joy of reading and celebrates the connection between the arts and literature."

In our libraries, you will find that art has a very intentional presence. We owe a debt of gratitude to those who have voluntarily served on the commission.
