Central Library
The Central Library is located in the heart of the cultural district, between the Greensboro Historical Museum and the Cultural Center, directly across from the Greensboro Children's Museum. Library customers have access to more than 100 computers, including a computer lab with 12 workstations and free computer training.
On the first floor, you will find a large and inviting space for kids and a Popular Library offering fiction, audio books, music CDs, DVDs and a Reader's Advisory Desk. On the second floor, you'll find nonfiction, the North Carolina Collection, the Business Collection, past issues of magazines, and an information desk staffed by professional librarians to help you find what you are looking for.
Computer Access
The Central Library has 126 computers with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Internet access. The computers are available first-come, first-served, for two-hour time slots. Some of these computers are express terminals available for 15 minutes at a time. A library card is required for computer use at many of the workstations. See the Library's computer use policies.
