Earth Day Celebration

Join us for this free event and spend a day caring for and celebrating our planet. The celebration is scheduled to follow the Greensboro Beautiful Great American Cleanup. Begin the day with the annual city-wide cleanup, and then come to the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library for the celebration, exhibits, and entertainment. The event is sponsored by the City's Field Operations Department, Greensboro Public Library, and Friends of the Greensboro Public Library.

Nature Photography Contest Grades K-12: Submit your own original photograph of nature in Guilford County. Then, come see all the photos on display at Earth Day and vote for your favorite! For contest rules, see the Photo Contest Flyer (pdf)

Litter Cleanup Join Greensboro Beautiful’s citywide litter cleanup from 9 am to 12 noon. To volunteer, contact Lynne Leonard at 336-373-2199.
Parking and Transportation Please park at Jefferson Elementary and take the hay ride into the event. Additional parking in Price Park (New Garden and Hobbs) with parking attendants available.
Businesses Businesses and exhibitors may check in at the exhibitor check-in station at noon to be set up by 12:30 p.m. If you are interested in exhibiting, e-mail Melanie Buckingham.
