Having youngsters feel a vested interest in our libraries is essential if libraries are to grow and continue to be the storehouse of knowledge and information. The mission of the Junior Friends of the McGirt-Horton Branch Library is to prepare young people to become productive, life long library users who are actively involved in helping to develop, implement, and promote library programs that focus on improving library programs and services to young people.
