Greensboro Public Library's Business Advantage program supports the business community by offering computer classes, premium business databases, planning consultation and career development. The business collection includes new books, reference tools, and magazines. It is located on the second floor of the Central Library.

With grant funding from the American Library Association and FINRA Investor Education Foundation, the library is offering a two-year series of financial education workshops for teens called My Future Cents. Topics like budgeting basics, checking and saving accounts, setting financial goals, investing, and using credit cards are covered.
