Requests should be limited to specific records or publications for ancestors from Guilford County. An example of an optimal question format would be, "Can you locate any Guilford County deeds for Jonathan Parker, in the early 1800s?" We can also field more general questions about our collection and assist with research strategies. We are not able to answer open-ended questions about ancestors or conduct open-ended research. For example, "Who are the parents of x?" is beyond the scope of this service.
