 Library Community Art Show: Call for Entries 

GREENSBORO, NC -- (August 13, 2009)-- Hemphill Branch Library, in partnership with Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art, present the Fifth Annual Community Art Show – an exciting showcase of local talent! Submissions are being accepted from August 19 -25. Entry forms can be downloaded on the Green Hill Center's Web site or you can pick one up at the Hemphill Library on the corner of Holden and Vandalia, 2301 West Vandalia Rd.

The art show will be on exhibit at Hemphill Library from September 5 to December 2, 2009. There will be a closing reception on December 2 from 6:30-8 pm.

Submission guidelines:

• No entry fee
• Art must be original
• All ages are welcome to submit
• Between one and three pieces may be submitted
• All mediums are welcome. We especially invite 3-dimensional submissions
• First come, first served – space is limited
• Art must be delivered to the library ready to hang by August 25 at 5 pm with a completed entry form
• Art that is not ready to hang or be displayed will not be accepted
• No artwork is permitted to be for sale
• Hemphill and Green Hill staff reserve the right to make final exhibition selections
