Guitarist Steve Sloan will play at Central Library

Steve Sloan, a winner in the 2006 Rosario Classical Guitar Competition, will play at Central Library on Friday, March 25 at 5 pm. Steve was a featured soloist on the CDs "Guitar at Akron 2003," and “Guitar at Akron 2005.” He has performed in master classes for such luminaries as Belgium’s Raphaella Smits, Stephen Robinson, and Douglas James.
In addition to solo guitar performances, Sloan has accompanied singers, flutists, and violinists. He is a member of the Akron Flamenco Guitar Ensemble and also teaches guitar.
