The Friends of the Greensboro Public Library will hold its semi-annual used book sale on Saturday, March 3 starting at 9 am. The sale is held at Central Library in downtown Greensboro, 219 North Church Street.

Readers can find fiction, history, children’s books, self-help, business titles, videos, books on tape/CD, music CDs and more. There will also be an assortment of rare and collectible books on sale.

Starting at 2:30 pm, customers can choose from the remaining books and fill a “grab bag” for just $2. “For anyone who enjoys reading, this is an excellent way to find great books at bargain prices,” says Librarian Beth Sheffield.

All items for sale are community donations. Proceeds from the sale go to the Friends of the Greensboro Public Library, a diverse nonprofit organization whose purpose is to support the community’s cultural and literary needs.
