Library Poetry Workshop Engages Marginalized Citizens
Monday, September 15 at 6:30 pm Central Library 219 North Church St.
Community Artistry: Poetry to Engage is an interdisciplinary poetry workshop with Righteous A.I.M. (Ebony Golden, Amaris Howard, and D. Noble). The group’s mission is to engage communities marginalized from the formal social, economic and political processes by using art as a means of healing.
There will be an open mic at 7:30 pm after the workshop. The workshop is free, but space is limited. Please contact Beth Sheffield or call 373-3617 to register. This program is sponsored in conjunction with NC A&T’s Lyceum Series.
