Library Presents Book Discussion of
Dreams from My Father

Saturday, November 14, at 3 pm
Central Library
219 North Church St.

Join us for a discussion of Barack Obama’s book, "Dreams from My Father." Learn more about the impact of growing up without a father and how it influences both racial and gender identity formation. Discuss how Obama uses autobiography as a tool for healing and as a way to confront the vulnerability of fatherlessness.

Our presenter will be Tara Green, associate professor of African American Studies at UNCG and author of "A Fatherless Child: Autobiographical Perspective of African American Men."

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Greensboro Public Library.
