Network Services
Mission
Provide business value, through involvement and participation with our customers, in leveraging the right technology to enable timely, cost effective, high quality delivery of City services.
Vision
To be recognized as an innovative, value-driven, customer-focused, well managed and effective information technology services provider, as well as being in touch with the business needs of City government while providing the best possible IT value with available funding. Specific functions and services provided by Network Services include:

Help Desk
The Help Desk provides desktop support to City departments with varied types of computer-related problems. Currently, we support 1500+ users and have one Network Support Analyst Supervisor and three Network Support Analysts. The 24-hour operations support includes the Fire and Police Departments, which have Tier II support.
Network Operations
Network Operations group manages the Wide Area Network (cable/wireless), Internet access and Network Management for the City, and provides desktop support. Currently we have one Systems Engineer, one Network Engineer, one Security Administrator and one LAN Administrator.
