Important Camp Changes
The Summer Camp at Bur-Mil Park has undergone many changes over the winter. The first thing you may have noticed is that our name has changed. We are no longer Bur-Mil Park Summer Camp. Instead, we are now Camp Bur-Mil! Another change you will notice is that we have increased the number of children we will allow to attend from 60 to 85 per week and expanded the age range of campers from 5-12 year olds to 5-14 year olds. Since we will have more campers, we have also added more camp counselors. We will have two separate camp staff, one dedicated to working with the younger children ages 5-9 and another dedicated to overseeing and planning activities for the older youth, ages 10-14. By making this change, we hope to accommodate more children and give them all a wonderful experience at camp.
Depending on registration, camp may be divided into the following three age groups: Owls (ages 5-7) Hawks (ages 8-9) Eagles (ages 10-14)
We hope that you excited by our changes. If you have any questions, please call us at 336-373-3819. We look forward to working with your children this summer. Registration
Camp registration took place March 11 on a first come, first served basis, all weeks are now full. To be added to the waiting list, please call 336-373-3805.
