Annual Reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse

The Greensboro Parks & Recreation Department sponsors the annual Reenactment of the Battle of Guilford Courthouse at Greensboro Country Park in March of each year. The Revolutionary War battle was fought on March 15, 1781 between the American Forces under Greensboro's namesake, Nathanael Greene, and British Commander Lord Charles Cornwallis. The anniversary commemoration will take place March 13 -14, 2010 at Country Park, 3905 Nathanael Green Dr., and Guilford Courthhouse National Military Park, 2332 New Garden Rd.
The Battle Reenactment will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, and Sunday, March 14, in Country Park. Reenactors should register with the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. All Sutlers should register with Larry Barham, manager of Country Park. Please review all rules prior to registration.
