Neighborhood Parks

Henry Street ParkNeighborhood parks are small tracts of land set aside to help local residents have places to relax, exercise, and play.

These parcels of land establish buffers for neighborhood development, provide areas of refuse for wildlife, and provide leisure time opportunities for nearby landowners.

Most of the neighborhood parks have between one and 15 acres of area for residents to enjoy. Amenities may include playground equipment, multipurpose concrete slabs, picnic shelters, restrooms, and open play areas.
