Bur-Mil Park Trails
Big Loop Trail (2.2 miles)
Little Loop Trail (0.8 miles)
Bur-Mil Park, owned by Guilford County and operated by the Greensboro Parks & Recreation Department, offers great trails for hiking, running, and mountain biking. Access to the Big Loop Trail is behind the Family Aquatic Center, or at the north end of the park just south of the trestle bridge. This trail winds through the wooded area along the western perimeter of the park. The Little Loop Trail is accessible from the Lake Brandt Greenway in the southeast section of the park. This short single-track trail twists through the woods and offers a quick semi-technical ride for mountain bikers. The Owl’s Roost Trail is also accessible from Bur-Mil Park. To help reduce erosion, cyclists are asked to avoid riding after rainfall or when conditions are muddy.
